Purpose of The Role:
- Responsible to manage the whole outbound & inbound activities in Dispatch Department at Watson Shah Alam DC, Guardian DC & Big Caring DC.
- Supporting the Modern trade team with the day-to-day operation of the Watson Shah Alam DC, Guardian DC & Big Caring DC, responsible for a group of operators and ensuring an efficient receiving operation in achieving business targets. Coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met to meet the requirements of the customer.
What You’ll Do:
- Be responsible to support day-to-day operations in Dispatch & Transport by ensuring adequate manpower to perform outbound duties at Watson Shah Alam DC, Guardian DC & Big Caring DC.
- To ensures all PDD transaction are completed within the timeline and maintain OTIF target.
- To ensure manifest of documents is completed on time and accurately.
- Identify any receiving improvements and make recommendations for change.
- Where possible resolve any issues or problems which occur at Watson Shah Alam DC, Guardian DC & Big Caring DC operation
- To understand and follow up with recommendation on any Watson Shah Alam DC, Guardian DC & Big Caring DC delivery related projects
- Ensure that health and safety meet the required standards and carry out at Watson Shah Alam DC, Guardian DC & Big Caring DC.
- Performs other job-related functions as and when required by superior.
- Manage time and attendance for operatives within area of responsibility and support executive and/or Manager with people management issues.
What Will Make You Successful:
Must-Have:
- 1-3 years of experience and knowledge of warehousing operations, with focus on inbound and outbound and floor operations
Advantage to Have:
- Knowledge of warehousing operations, with focus on inbound and outbound and floor operations
- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
- Good planning skills and able to meet targets and deadlines.
- Knowledge of company operations and procedures
- Multitasking and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and be available after normal business hours to get job done.
