Surgical Kit Technician

Kit Inspection & Quality Assurance 

• Inspect returned instrument and implant kits to ensure completeness and accuracy against approved checklists and documentation.
• Verify the functionality and condition of instruments and equipment, identifying any defects, damage, contamination, or wear and tear.
• Perform cleaning and basic maintenance activities in accordance with established work instructions and quality standards.
• Report and document any discrepancies, damaged items, missing components, or quality issues to the immediate superior. 

Kit Preparation & Inventory Management 

• Prepare and assemble instrument and implant kits according to surgery bookings and operational requirements.
• Ensure all kits are complete, accurately documented, and sealed prior to dispatch.
• Manage kit top-up and replenishment activities, including raising requests for replacement items when necessary.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems promptly for all stock movements.
• Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts, stock audits, expiry monitoring, and stock replenishment. 

Documentation & Compliance 

• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including checklists, delivery documents, forms, and inventory records.
• Ensure all records are completed clearly, accurately, and in compliance with company procedures.
• Adhere to all applicable quality, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including ISO, GDP, GDPMD, GMP, GSDP, and company policies. 

Stakeholder Coordination 

• Work closely with internal teams, principals, sales representatives, and logistics partners to support kit availability and operational requirements.
• Assist in coordinating kit mobilization, replenishment, discrepancy investigations, and special dispatch arrangements.
• Support product recall activities, including tracing affected inventory and coordinating retrieval from customers and hospitals when required. 

Operational Excellence 

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment while adhering to PPE, EHS, and 5S requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Provide support for urgent operational requirements, including standby support after office hours, weekends, and public holidays when necessary.
