Purpose of The Role:

To manage inventory and import activities with overseas suppliers/principals, ensuring products are available on time and in line with contract agreements. This role oversees all import operations, supports and guides the import team, serves as the key contact for new import business, and works closely to support the company's business objectives.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage inventory planning and supply continuity in collaboration with overseas principals, ensuring inventory levels align with contractual commitments and business requirements.
  • Oversee end-to-end import operations for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, spare parts, and other products sourced from overseas suppliers and principals, ensuring compliance with regulatory, contractual, and company requirements.
  • Leverage FTA, AFTA, WTO, and other trade agreements to optimize import duty savings and cost efficiency while effectively managing freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping agents, and other logistics service providers.
  • Ensure timely customs clearance and efficient inbound logistics, overseeing import documentation, HS/HTS classifications, country of origin data, and the seamless movement of goods from customs to the warehouse.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and overseas principals by providing shipment updates, resolving import-related issues, managing overseas claims, and supporting payment processes with Finance and external partners.
  • Maintain import master data and product cost information, prepare analyses for management review, foster strong relationships with principals, and lead, coach, and develop team members to drive operational excellence.

 

What Will Make You Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in import/export operations, procurement, or customs-related activities at a senior or supervisor level.
  • Knowledge of import regulations and compliance requirements, including Thai Customs, Thai FDA, TISI, and DLD.
  • Effective communication skills in English with proficiency in Excel and Word.

 

Must-Have:

  • Inventory Planning and Operational Management.
  • Import/Export Operations, Customs Clearance, and Insurance Claims Management
  • SAP Materials Management (MM) Module Knowledge
  • Moderate Microsoft Excel Skills for Analysis and Reporting

  • Customs Broker License/ Training Certification (Thailand)
