Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for driving the marketing and financial performance of assigned product portfolios through effective planning, execution, and control of strategic marketing initiatives. This role ensures alignment of product strategies with business objectives while maximizing market opportunities and sales growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement the annual Marketing Plan, including forecasts, budgets, and strategies
- Achieve sales targets within approved promotional expense budgets
- Design and execute promotional activities in collaboration with the sales team
- Lead development of marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Ensure timely and effective implementation of all planned activities
- Manage inventory levels in coordination with Business Unit Head and Purchasing
- Conduct product training and assess development needs of Medical Representatives
- Gather and analyze market intelligence, including competitors and industry trends
- Monitor product performance and evaluate effectiveness of marketing activities
- Prepare reports on product movement and campaign outcomes
What will make you successful - Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in any 4-year course
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Medical Representative
- At least 1 year experience as District Sales Manager (DSM)
- At least 1 year experience as Associate Product Manager in a pharmaceutical (ethical) company
Advantage to Have:
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy and product lifecycle management
- Experience in handling pharmaceutical product portfolios
- Strong analytical and market assessment skills
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong planning, organizing, and execution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management capability
