Compliance Analyst (Fixed Term)

Purpose of the role.
Ensure contractual obligations are clearly understood, properly assessed, and aligned with actual business practices. The role identifies potential compliance and operational gaps, establishes accountability with the appropriate business units, and facilitates practical action plans to address the gaps. The position also provides project governance, monitoring, and reporting to ensure gaps are effectively resolved and contractual commitments are consistently fulfilled.
Work Scope:
Lead the review and assessment of client contracts, including identifying, documenting, resolving, and closing gaps
Roles and responsibilities:
- Review and assess client contracts, including relevant amendments and other contractual obligations
- Identify key compliance, operational, reporting, documentation, and other relevant requirements stated in the contract.
- Translate contractual requirements into clear and understandable business requirements.
- Compare “what the contract requires against what the business currently does
- Identify and document any gaps, inconsistencies, or areas where actual practice may not fully meet the contractual requirement.
- Maintain a centralized gap register containing all identified gaps and action items.
- Identify and assign the appropriate business unit or process owner responsible for addressing each gap
- Ensure that ownership and accountability for each action item are clearly established
- Coordinate with relevant business unit to validate identified gaps and agree on appropriate action
- Monitor progress of agreed actions and regularly follow up with responsible business unit.•
- Ensure that agreed actions are properly documented and supported by appropriate evidence.
- Develop and submit timely and regular reports and gap register.
Financial and Non-financial measures:
Measures are intangible and non-financial by helping the organization execute programs in a safe and compliant manner. Mitigate potential losses in terms of fines, reduce potential contractual liability from potential non-compliance, and assist in building a culture of compliance in the organization.
Minimum job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or Business with 5 years of solid work experience in Contract Management, Audit, Risk Management, or Project Management
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, logistics, or other regulated industries is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify gaps in the process.
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English and the local language.
- Independent and able to work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office for tracking, analysis, and reporting
- High level of integrity and takes ownership and accountability for results
Communication Requirements:
Good communication skills, verbally and in writing, with the ability to explain complex transactions in a clear and concise manner in English.
