Purpose of the Role:

 

To lead and strategically manage the IT procurement category across the region, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of IT goods and services in alignment with company objectives and strategies.

 

What You’ll Do :

 

  • Manages demand through spend planning and strategic acquisition of IT Consulting Services, IT Hardware, Software Maintenance, Software as a Service (SaaS), Cloud Hosting and telco services.
  • Supports Regional IT projects and initiatives by driving the Procurement process to ensure the acquisition of goods and services are aligned with the company objectives and strategies.
  • Conducts e-sourcing activities (i.e. RFPs/RFIs) to find the best fit and generate savings opportunities.
  • Establishes contracts/agreements for all IT goods and IT services acquired by the company to ensure all supplier deliverables/expectations are managed.
  • Supports IT Heads and Procurement Leads in local BUs (other countries in Asia) in their IT projects and IT category management.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with key and strategic suppliers across the region.
  • Governance of Procurement policies and system-related controls (i.e. SAP Ariba, Contract Repository) for ROHQ.
  • Manages vendor accreditation program and Material Vendor (MV) due diligence requirements for Regional and Corporate office.
  • Supports and champions the Sustainability policies and procedures for ROHQ.

 

What will make you successful:

 

Must-Have:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of proven experience in IT procurement and category management, specifically with IT hardware, software, SaaS, cloud, and telco services.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic sourcing, including conducting RFPs and RFIs.
  • Strong experience in contract negotiation and management for IT goods and services.
  • Proficiency with procurement systems and tools, such as SAP Ariba.
  • Excellent stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Solid understanding of procurement governance, policies, and due diligence processes
  • Demonstrate strong sense of ownership to the projects
  • Ability to work under time pressure in case of urgency

 

Advantage to Have:

 

  • Experience working in a regional capacity across Asian markets.
  • Familiarity with sustainability initiatives within a procurement context.
  • Previous working experience in organisation with high Cybersecurity standards such as Bank, Pharma, Pharma CMOs, Hospital Chain, Trading Companies and Technology Companies
