Purpose of the Role:

 

Serves as the strategic lead for Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Security for supply chain and operations across the markets where ZP operates. This role is responsible for designing, standardizing, and implementing robust resilience and continuity frameworks across sourcing, manufacturing partners, distribution networks, and logistics operations. 

 

In parallel, the incumbent will develop and oversee the end-to-end supply chain security strategy to protect our people, products, and assets. This includes implementing measures to ensure product integrity and prevent counterfeit, stolen, or diverted goods and for physical security of our logistics and distribution network including distribution centres, transportation and cargo. The incumbent will safeguard service continuity, inventory and customer fulfilment while enabling the organization to anticipate, respond to, and recover from supply chain and operational disruptions across different markets.

 

What You’ll Do :

 

Policy & Framework

  • Design, standardize, and maintain harmonized Security and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) policies, standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all operational markets, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated.

Business Continuity & Crisis Management 

  • Lead the end-to-end Business Continuity and Crisis Management program. This includes ensuring all markets maintain updated BCP procedures and possess fully trained crisis management teams. You will also oversee the successful execution of at least one tabletop crisis simulation per market annually to ensure preparedness.

Security Management

  • Take full ownership of the security management function. This involves conducting annual security risk assessments and audits for all key sites and developing robust remediation plans for any high-risk findings. You will be responsible for defining, driving, and implementing the organization's security certification strategy (e.g., TAPA FSR/TSR) while aiming for zero major security breaches and ensuring the timely investigation and closure of all security incidents.

Intelligence and Threat Analysis

  • Proactively monitor and analyze geopolitical, criminal, and environmental threats across the region to inform risk assessments and strategic planning.

Compliance & Audit

  • Guarantee full regulatory compliance with all local security regulations in every market. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external security audits, with a key objective of achieving zero major & critical findings.

Supply Chain Security

  • Proactively analyze the supply chain to identify, assess, and mitigate weak links and potential points of failure to enhance overall resilience.

 

What will make you successful:

 

Must-Have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, or Risk Management
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate security and business continuity, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-country leadership role.
  • Professional certifications such as Certification in BCP Planning and management, ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management certification, TAPA Facility Security Requirement (FSR) / Trucking Security Requirement (TSR), CSP (Certified Security Professional) etc.
  • Proven record of driving security and business continuity strategy and processes across complex organizations.
  • Experience in crisis management and leading emergency response teams during real-world incidents.
  • Crisis Composure - Maintains clarity and decisive leadership under pressure.
  • Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex security concepts for non-security audiences, with a good command of English

 

Advantage to Have:

 

  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Background in law enforcement, military, or intelligence services is advantageous but must be combined with corporate experience.
  • Strategic Thinking - Ability to see the "big picture" and align security initiatives with the company’s long-term objectives.
  • Influencing Skills - The ability to persuade senior stakeholders and local managers without relying solely on hierarchical authority
  • Analytical Thinking - Capable of interpreting complex geopolitical intelligence and translating it into actionable business advice.
