Purpose of The Role: 

 

Serves as the strategic lead for Security across supply chain and operations in the markets where ZP operates. This role is responsible for designing, standardizing, and implementing a robust regional security framework to protect our people, products, and assets. the incumbent will develop and oversee the end-to-end supply chain security strategy to protect our people, products, and assets. This includes implementing measures to ensure product integrity and prevent counterfeit, stolen, or diverted goods and for physical security of our logistics and distribution network including distribution centres, transportation and cargo.

The incumbent will also assist in the tactical execution of regional Health and Safety (H&S) programs, including ISO 14001 and 45001 initiatives. Additionally, this role will oversee the regional Business Continuity Management (BCM) program across the region to ensure  successful implementation of ISO 22301 and in safeguarding organizational resilience against operational disruptions

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Security Management (Primary Focus): Take full ownership of the security management function to drive regional standardization and efficiency. This includes conducting annual security risk assessments, developing remediation plans, and implementing the organization's security certification strategy (e.g., TAPA FSR/TSR). Aim for zero major security breaches and ensure timely investigation and closure of all security incidents
  • Policy & Framework: Design, standardize, and maintain harmonized Security policies, standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all operational markets. Assist in the regional harmonization of Health and Safety standards related to ISO 14001/45001.
  • Health & Safety: Assist the Regional Head of HSS in the tactical execution of health and safety programs. This includes supporting the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 and 45001 for the regional headquarters and overseeing continued certification of markets.
  • Business Continuity & Crisis Management: Oversee the regional Business Continuity program, leveraging external expertise to ensure the successful implementation of ISO 22301. Ensure all markets maintain updated BCP procedures and trained crisis management teams and support the execution of tabletop exercises.
  • Intelligence and Threat Analysis: Proactively monitor and analyze geopolitical, criminal, and environmental threats across the region to inform risk assessments and strategic planning
  • Compliance & Audit: Guarantee full regulatory compliance with all local security regulations in every market. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external security audits, with a key objective of achieving zero major & critical findings.

 

What Will Make You Successful:

 

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, or Risk Management
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Security Professional), TAPA Facility Security Requirement (FSR) / Trucking Security Requirement (TSR), NEBOSH IGC etc. are highly desirable.
  • Certifications or working knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 22301 are a significant advantage.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate security, safety and/or business continuity, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-country leadership role.
  • Proven record of driving security and business continuity strategy and processes across complex organizations.
  • Experience in crisis management and leading emergency response teams during real-world incidents.
