Purpose of the Role:

 

Patient Care: 

 

Our Patient Centered Services team design, develop, deliver and manage direct patient solutions and services that address the needs of patients throughout their treatment journey. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the team that is focused on delivering excellent patient /customer experience.

 

Core Role Function:

  • To ensure effective, trustful and up-to-date communication of scientific data through external engagements enabling healthcare professionals and public health decision makers to bring relevant healthcare solutions to their patients.
  • To bring medical and technical expertise to the medical affairs team, relevant brand teams, and other internal business partners including regulatory, strategic development, and marketing across the region.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Manage the regional medical affairs structure for PatientCare and develop and drive patient access and engagement programme across the region.
    • Support and lead implementation and execution of new healthcare projects and programmes.
    • Provides strategic input for new business solutions across different markets.
    • Support company initiatives in relation to medical affairs and marketing, and provide the team with up-to-date medical information, robust disease expertise, and product information.
    • Update, organize and review literature and other sources of information pertinent to healthcare and new business development strategies.
    • Develop an understanding of the regional landscape including specialties in the care of patients and maintain accurate reporting and documentation of MSL activities/ MI & PV.
    • Develop and maintain medical guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and spot check matrix, ensuring that proper training and roll-out plan is executed regionally.
    • Train internal/external stakeholders on key scientific and medical topics in relevant therapeutic area
    • Review medical marketing projects and material to ensure medical compliance.
  • Drive and support digital solutions across the regional markets, including but not limit to:
    • Use of systems to strategically map, identify, profile and prioritize thought leaders in line with the medical plan and goals.
    • Assume the role of product owner for PatientCare’s wellness digital tools and the content delivered within such tools (e.g. health video and health tips).
  • Take ownership of the regional Quality Management Systems (QMS) for the Department.
    • Lead the improvement of the regional standards & guidelines, and ensure proper maintenance of document control and training programs.
    • Work with respective company DPOs to executive a full suite of data privacy policies.
    • Support the business unit in any implementation of ISO certifications, audits, reviews and approval of SOPs and training programs to ensure in-country SOPs and training programs comply with regional standards.
    • Provide strategic and operational quality advice and support to functional staff on a range of quality and training issues.
    • Provide outcome reports and documentation of all quality reviews and audits (internal and external) to regional management team.
    • Provide quality leadership, training and support to the business unit as part of the internal reviews and continuous improvement framework.
    • Directly leading Quality team in Taiwan & Malaysia
  • Develop and manage KPIs for the Medical team across the region.
  • Work with Legal and Compliance Department to ensure program adherence.

 

Additional:

  • Become a thought development leader. Provides medical/scientific advisory to educate internal & external department members, seeing that consumers’ questions are addressed, and providing services related information to healthcare providers in the community.
    • Serve as scientific peer-to-peer resource to external disease experts and internal stakeholders
    • Generate tactical plans to provide needs based, value-added support for the medical and scientific community in-line with company goals
  • Build network and engagement with various healthcare stakeholders across the spectrum including key opinion leaders, healthcare institutions/providers and payors.
    • Collaborate with physicians on medical affairs initiatives including publications, advisory boards, medical education opportunities, training, and speaker development
    • Develop and maintain collaborations and relationships with key medical experts Education, Registration & Certification

  

What will make you successful:

 

Must-Have:

 

  • Medical Degree, Master in Pharmacy, or related discipline
  • Minimum 8-10+ years of progressive experience within Medical Affairs, Quality Assurance, or Clinical Operations.
  • Quality Management & Governance Mastery: Proven track record of designing, implementing, and auditing Regional Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Knows the competition and market environment; understands the organization's functions and how they work together to create value; possess technical/functional knowledge and skills to reach a high level of accomplishment.
  • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders including clients
