Regional Finance Manager (Commercialization)

Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Regional Finance Manager - Commercialization to serve as a critical business partner to our regional commercial teams. You will be responsible for driving the financial strategy behind our go-to-market initiatives, distribution partnerships, and market access programs across Asia. You will provide deep financial insights, manage P&L for commercial operations, and ensure that our commercialization strategies are financially viable, competitive, and aligned with Zuellig Pharma’s commercialization long-term growth objectives.
What You’ll Do:
Regional Financial Planning & Analysis
- Regional Consolidation: Manage regional FP&A activities and end-to-end financial planning cycle, including the annual budget, latest estimates (LE), and long-range strategic plans for the Commercialization BU.
- Deliver insightful and timely monthly and quarterly financial / management reporting packs
- Work closely with Corporate Controlling team to ensure all policy guidance are reviewed and implemented across the business units.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with Country FBPs and Business leaders to ensure accurate and timely financial submissions.
Business Partnering & Commercial insights
- Provide finance business partnering support to Commercialization BU in delivery of strategic and operational targets, including analysis that support sustainable business growth.
- Carry out in-depth analysis of specific key business drivers to understand the root cause of variances and the impact of various business options / decisions.
- Provide finance guidance on cost savings definitions and scope, validate financial data and provide ongoing support to meet savings targets.
- Support quarterly performance reviews with the EVP, leveraging Power BI dashboards to communicate financial results and strategic insights.
- Analyse monthly regional performance results, Gross margin fluctuation, & costs movements to uncover performance drivers
- Challenge business partners to drive cost control, financial responsibility, and alignment of local KPIs with overall regional targets
- Scenario Modelling: Develop robust financial models to support scenario planning, sensitivity analyses, and business case evaluations for new investments or strategic initiatives
Value adding Projects & Process Improvement
- Streamline and automate financial planning, reporting and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy, while fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Drive the implementation of financial systems and tools that advances the company's analytical capabilities, including being flexible and innovative in embracing and utilising new technologies
- Lead and contribute to high-impact Group and Business Unit projects that drive improvements and strategic value.
What will make you successful:
Must-Have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of related experience in FP&A, business analysis, or audit.
- Essential: Strong hands-on proficiency in SAP (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP BPC).
Advantage to Have:
- Certification (Preferred): Professional Accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or regional-facing position.
- Advanced Tools: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with system automation or Business Intelligence (BI) tools is a strong plus.
