Procurement Manager

Purpose of The Role:

• Manage daily operations dealing, including delivery, price/cost analysis, contract negotiation, policies and procedures compliance, logistical co-ordination and liaison support to other functions in the company.
• To manage cost-effective purchasing-related matters to enhance most cost-effective procurement including originate and execute cost saving projects.
• Ensure high demand and supply projection and reliability for short, medium and long term.
• Problem solving for principal related issues
• Align with different stakeholder and ensure project execution
• Manage full procurement cycle
• Initiate new ideas to optimize in order to meet the saving KPIs

What You’ll Do: (Maximum 10 points)

 Assist the Finance Manager in:

• Manage daily operations dealing, including delivery, price/cost analysis, contract negotiation, policies and procedures compliance, logistical co-ordination and liaison support to other functions in the company.
• To manage cost-effective purchasing-related matters to enhance most cost-effective procurement including originate and execute cost saving projects.
• Ensure SOP and Guideline are update or revised with regional policy.
• Ensure high demand and supply projection and reliability for short, medium and long term.
• Ensure the appropriate stock cover to meet company objectives; minimize stock shortages and write-off.
• Provide directions for managing exceptional situations, such as stocks management, operation issue etc.
• Understand supplier’s capabilities and manage your product categories to consolidation purchase volumes, improve product quality, provide more efficient service and reduce costs to achieve company objectives.
• Implement supplier relationship management and enhance supplier performance by through quarterly reviews with core suppliers.
• Manage all supply contracts and establish a contingency plan for core products.
• Handle audit related to area (not limited to Customs requirement)
• Supervise procurement and inventory accounting team.
• Willingness to travel if required

Must-Have: (Maximum 4 points)

• At least Bachelor’s degree Purchasing / Business Administration / Economics or related fields.
• At least 5 years business experience with 3 years direct experience in purchasing and supervisor level.
• Strong negotiation skills and leadership skills
• Initiative and have strong logical thinking
• Good command of English and computer literacy
• Expreience in Indirect Purchasing
• Warehouse material purchasing such as maintenance supplier, consumables, transport etc.
