Purpose of The Role:
The primary purpose of being a warehouse assistant is to ensure the efficient, safe, and accurate flow of goods into and out of a storage facility. Especially for handling, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching stock, which enables timely customer order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and smooth logistical operations
What You’ll Do:
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift, bend, or reach regularly.
- Attention to detail in picking, packing, and shipping to reduce errors.
- Collaborating with team members in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), scanners, and data entry.
What Will Make You Successful:
- Must-Have: Ability to lift, pack, and move heavy items, scanner technology, and basic arithmetic for stock counting, ensuring accuracy in inventory checks, packing, and scanning product codes.
- Advantage to Have: Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), valid license to operate forklifts, proven experience (1-2 years) in warehouse.
