Purpose of The Role:

The Packaging Material Specialist acts as the key liaison between clients and internal operations for all matters related to redressing instructions and packaging material requirements. The role ensures that client requests are accurately interpreted, compliant,and operationally fessible, while being executed within agreed timelines. This includes maintaining control over packaging documentation, client-owned material inventory, and service commitments in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

 

What You’ll Do: 

 

Client & Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on redressing instructions and packaging requirements.
  • Review, clarify, and validate client requests to ensure feasibility and compliance.
  • Prepare mock-ups, draft proposals, and support clients through the approval process.
  • Manager client accounts by tracking deliverables, timelines, and documentation.

 

Redressing Coordination

  • Draft clear, accurate Redressing Instructions (RI) for production use.
  • Work closely with the production team to assess feasibility of redressing activities.
  • Coordinate changes, updates, and maintain version control for RIs.
  • Assist production in troubleshooting redressing issues and providing clarification.

 

Inventory & Material Management

  • Monitor and manage client-owned packaging material inventory.
  • Track material consumption, shortages and replenishment requirements.
  • Prepare and share material status reports with internal stakeholders and clients.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with production, QA, supply chain, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth execution of redressing operations.
  • Support audits, compliance checks, and documentation related to packaging material activities.
 

Must-Have: 

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in packaging, supply chain, production coordination, or account management role.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.

 

Advantage to Have: 

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with redressing, labeling, packaging operations, or GMP documentation.
  • Exposure to SAP, inventory tracking systems, or document control workflows.
  • Hands-on experience working with client-owned materials and compliance-driven operations.
