Purpose of the Role: The role will be the field medical expert responsible for providing scientific and medical support to external and internal stakeholder. The individual will provide scientific information and address the medical/scientific information needs of Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) within the related therapeutics areas. This field-based position will proactively build relationship with HCPs through the scientific approach that is aligned with the Brand and Medical Plan. The candidate will be expected to work independently and to converse on a peer-to-peer basis with HCPs.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as a scientific expert for providing scientific and medical supports to internal and external stakeholders (Government sectors, patient advocacy groups, key medical organizations) in the key therapeutic categories
- Identify HCPs with the scientific expertise in treatment practice to collaborate on medical insights gathering based on strategic brand plan
- Provide scientific information and to support medical/ scientific information needs of HCPs
- Conduct appropriate Zuellig Pharma (ZP) staff training & development on information regarding current clinical data and emerging trends in medical practice within therapeutic categories
- Build and maintain scientific trust-based relationships with KOLs
- Build understanding and value to clinical practice of ZP products aligned with scientific objectives. Work with HCPs in scientific activities to advance disease understanding such as:

- Identify potential speakers and train speakers as appropriate
- Interact in the field with the medical community in the context of various medical projects, such as CME, scientific exchange meetings
- Provide recommendations for advisory board participants and lead national advisory boards
- Work closely with the medical and commercial teams in execution for the brands and develop a medical strategic and tactical plan in collaboration with the medical team
What Will Make You Successful:
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Medical/Life Science/Pharmacy disciplines
- Over 1 year of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry, or at least 2 years of related working experience in research/academic/healthcare industry
- Strong scientific, medical, and technical skills in Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, and/or Medical Information
- Ability to synthesize and communicate scientific information effectively with HCPs
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Good command of spoken and written in English and Chinese (Including Cantonese)
Advantage to Have:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team internally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
