Purpose of the Role: Logistics Executive will manage overall warehouse operations and warehouse team to ensure compliance to SOPs, company’s quality objectives and KPIs with focus towards service level improvement and cost optimization.
What You’ll Do :
- Monitor & supervise all activities in the warehouse to ensure whole warehouse team carry out their tasks in accordance to SOPs and WIs.
- Plan , control and organize the utilization and maintenance of resources ie. space, manpower , equipment and packaging materials to ensure efficiency and productivity in warehouse operations.
- Monitor and follow up on in-coming Branch Transfer Sea Shipment for resources and space planning to ensure smooth receiving process.
- Plan and implement continuous process improvement or cost optimization within warehouse operations to ensure efficient utilization of resources and OPEX budget.
- Investigate and provide prompt feedbacks and corrective actions in response to customers/clients complaints/disputes to ensure they are closed within target timeline.
- Escalate all complaints to the correct channel and coordinate with other departments to resolve complaints timely.
- Review and update SOPs related to warehouse facilities and operational activities as and when required to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Initiate , coordinate and conduct investigations on security incidents relating to the company’s assets , personnel and stocks promptly and close them within the specified timeline.
- Generate and monitor operational KPIs with analysis on any processes that fail to meet the KPI to implement improvement on this process flow for achievement of KPIs .
- Ensure Monthly OTIF Performance sustain in 98%
- Monitor & analyse operating expenses of warehouse to contain costs within budget and to provide supporting data for the annual warehouse CAPEX & OPEX budget.
- Monitor housekeeping in warehouse to ensure good housekeeping and 5S practices are carried out and maintained.
- Monitor the working condition of all critical facilities and equipment in the warehouse to ensure storage condition is in accordance with GSP requirement.
- Provide support to the Facility Engineer in monitoring and evaluating the scheduled preventive maintenance of facilities & equipment in the warehouse ( including pest control ) , and breakdown maintenance carried out by suppliers or vendors to ensure all facilities and equipment are in good working condition.
- Monitor to ensure the Health & Safety Standards set by company are maintained and adhered to in the warehouse.
- Provide support to the Facility Engineer or the Quality Executive for the validation activities to be carried out for the facilities in the warehouse , the various passive packaging system and transport as and when required to ensure compliance to the Master Validation Plan.
- Track OMRs & Monitor OTIF performance daily and weekly using Power BI to produce weekly or monthly warehouse performance reports for analysis and reporting to superiors for service improvement.
- Respond to lifeline requests , security alarm and temperature excursion alarm promptly to ensure emergencies are attended to appropriately.
- Attend to SAP related issues by providing local SAP support such as SIQ analysis and escalations to ZPMY IT Team or Regional UNITE Team to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide assistance or support to ZPMY IT Team in rolling out or implementing any IT activities or programmes as and when required to ensure smooth operation in system.
- Coordinate and perform risk assessment on critical areas of warehouse operational processes to ensure potential risks are appropriately mitigated , apt and sufficient controls are in place.
- Plan and organize annual stock take to ensure completion of this annual exercise within the target timeline with accurate and acceptable results.
- Conduct on-the-job training , coaching or guiding of all subordinates in skills as and when necessary to enhance capabilities and deliver up to expectations.
