Purpose of the Role:

Medical Science Liaison is a critical member of the Medical Affairs Team who acts as a strategic partner to provide field-based resource for Health Care Providers (HCPs) delivering the scientific information that they require in the context of their work, in accordance and compliance to local laws, regulations and codes of practice or SOPs on the focused therapeutic categories in a timely, accurate and ethical manner. The MSL works to execute the medical strategies of the Brand Plan in collaboration with cross-functional colleagues and to provide medical and scientific support for building of internal stakeholder capabilities.

 

What You’ll do:

  • Build and maintain trustful partnerships with healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders to enhance patient care.
  • Engage in scientific discussions with clients, addressing their inquiries and providing accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Support the execution of local medical plans within the assigned therapeutic areas. · Coordinate and participate in medical education activities and sales conference meetings.
  • Initiate and conduct impactful internal training sessions on current clinical data and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, providing medical insights and suggestions based on patient, clinician, and scientific perspectives.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and compliance regulations within the pharmaceutical industry during interactions with stakeholders.
  • Stay informed and maintain a strong understanding of regulatory guidelines.

What Will Make You Successful:

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or medical field (e.g. Pharmacy, Medicine, Pharmaceutical Science, Biomedical Science, Life Science).
  • Good understanding of clinical development and Clinical Research Practice is preferable.
  • Proficiency in writing and oral communication skills in English and Bahasa.
  • Willingto be placed in Jakarta

 

Advantages to Have:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in Medical Scientific/Scientific Affairs role. ·
  • Having experience in conducting scientific presentation is preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial systems and sales strategies.
