Purpose of the Role:
The Compliance Lead oversees all compliance and regulatory activities, with the primary goal of ensuring strict adherence to pharmaceutical standards and regulations. This role is vital for aligning sales practices with corporate policies and guidelines. The Compliance Lead is responsible for staying abreast of current regulatory requirements, championing a culture of compliance, and preventing ZP policy violations, such as inappropriate gifting or offering benefits to healthcare professionals.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure rigorous compliance and regulatory adherence, measured by the absence of compliance violations and regulatory penalties.
- Oversee and manage workflows effectively to guarantee compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements, as evaluated through internal audits and continuous monitoring.
- Maintain budget adherence and optimize the allocation of resources for compliance initiatives, ensuring allocated budgets align with planned activities for successful program execution.
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to drive compliance and regulatory efforts across the organization, securing alignment with relevant stakeholders' compliance objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to ensure sales activities align seamlessly with established compliance standards through regular training, policy enforcement, and continuous feedback.
- Monitor healthcare professional (HCP) engagements to prevent activities that violate ZP's policies and regulations, demonstrated through consistent reporting and zero compliance breaches.
What Will Make You Successful:
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Pharmacy, Healthcare, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Head of Compliance or Compliance Lead in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in compliance management, preferably in a regional or cluster role.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance regulations, laws, and industry standards.
- Demonstrated experience working with regulatory authorities and navigating complex compliance requirements.
- Proven track record in developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs.
- Experience in conducting compliance training and driving awareness initiatives among employees.
- Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks and mitigation strategies within a compliance context.
Advantages to Have:
- Professional certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - CCEP).
- Deep understanding of the Indonesian regulatory landscape, including BPOM regulations and local anti-bribery laws.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders at all levels without direct authority.
- Experience with digital compliance tools, including the digitalization of compliance workflows or managing automated tracking and reporting systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for compliance reporting, auditing, and trend analysis.
