Inventory Control Supervisor

Purpose of The Role: The Inventory Control Supervisor, under the direction of Warehouse Manager, is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control operations. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of inventory data, optimizes inventory levels, minimizes losses, and maintains efficient inventory processes. The Inventory Control Supervisor will lead, and mentor put away, replenishment and reach truck driver, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The individual will ensure that inventory transactions are properly documented and reconciled, and that the company’s inventory control policies and procedures are consistently followed.

What You’ll Do: 

• Supervise and coordinate all inventory control activities, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues.
• Analyze the slotting regularly (right product at the right pick phase, with the right minimum and maximum quantity)
• Follow replenishment activity to identify what the issue the team is facing  
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including shortages, overages, and damages.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments.
• Implement and oversee the use of inventory management software (e.g., SAP & EZ stockcount).
• Supervise, train, and mentor put away, replenishment & reach truck driver team.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes and increase efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze inventory reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements especially for controlled drug.

• Implement and monitor loss prevention measures to minimize inventory shrinkage.
• Investigate and report any suspected cases of theft or fraud.
• Ensure that security protocols are followed.
• Work with manager to improve on job efficiency and workflow.

Must-Have: 

• Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. 
• Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices. Proficiency in using inventory management software (e.g., SAP, EZ stockcount).
