Ethics and Compliance Lead

Roles and Responsibilities:
 

  1. Implement and maintain Corporate Compliance policies and procedures, as well as applicable local laws and regulations, within the assigned business units.
  2. Promote awareness and understanding of compliance-related policies and procedures across all business units in Thailand.
  3. Conduct and oversee compliance monitoring activities within all business units in Thailand.
  4. Manage Speak Up cases, including conducting end-to-end investigations.
  5. Support compliance risk assessments and monitor risk mitigation plans within the designated region.
  6. Partner with key functions such as Legal, Internal Control, Medical Affairs, and HR to oversee, report, and remediate compliance-related issues across the designated business units.
  7. Support the regional Third-Party Management Program and manage third-party compliance programs within the designated region.
  8. Collaborate closely with other functions on due diligence and investigation reviews, and provide training and technical support for local third-party management.Through ongoing training and communication, ensure employees within the designated business units are aware of new policies, programs, and procedures, understand their responsibilities in identifying risks, and escalate compliance concerns appropriately and in good faith.
  9. Lead or participate in regional compliance initiatives when applicable, where project management and presentation skills are required.

Minimum Qualification: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field; professional Compliance certification(s) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of solid Compliance experience at the country level; experience in healthcare or a related industry is highly desirable.
  • Overall work experience of 15 years or more is preferred.         
  • Proven experience in implementing corporate and/or regional Compliance programs, including:Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption, Gifts & Entertainment, Third-Party Anti-Corruption Due Diligence Zuellig Pharma Healthcare Guide
  • Knowledge of and experience with local pharmaceutical codes of ethics and practices related to sales and marketing activities involving Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in Thailand is preferred.
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels, including senior management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with key decision-makers and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on approach with the willingness to actively drive Compliance initiatives across business units.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong presentation abilities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Passionate about supporting a strong ethics and Compliance culture within the organization.
  • Demonstrates high ethical standards, integrity, and the courage to do the right thing.
  • Willingness to travel for business within the region as required.
