Purpose of The Role:
The Sales Promotion Representative (SPR) is responsible for promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, and other relevant stakeholders within the assigned territory in Denpasar. This role is key to building brand awareness, driving sales volume, and fostering strong customer relationships to achieve company sales targets and market share growth for our pharmaceutical portfolio.
What You'll Do:
Sales & Promotion:
- Regularly visit healthcare professionals (doctors, specialists) and pharmacies within the assigned territory to present and promote our pharmaceutical products.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, indications, and contraindications.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and develop new customer leads and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships based on trust and reliability.
Product Knowledge & Market Insight:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product portfolio, including new product launches, pricing, and competitive landscape.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities within the pharmaceutical sector in Denpasar.
- Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to management on customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive threats.
Reporting & Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer interactions, and sales activities using the company's CRM system or reporting tools.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Manage and track assigned sales territories, ensuring optimal coverage and customer engagement.
- Assist in organizing and participating in local promotional events, product launches, and medical conferences as required.
Logistics Support (if applicable):
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of product samples and promotional materials to customers.
- Report any stock availability issues or delivery discrepancies to the relevant department.
What Will Make You Successful:
Must Have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if compensated by experience.
- Proven experience (minimum 1-2 years) in sales, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Basic computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel for reporting).
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Willingness and ability to be placed and work in Denpasar.Professional appearance and demeanor.
Advantage to Have:
- Previous experience as a Sales Promotion Representative (SPR) for pharmaceutical products.
- Established relationships with healthcare professionals and pharmacies in the Denpasar area.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical product categories.
- Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken)
- Understanding of sales and marketing principles in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
