Purpose of the Role:
The Assistant Manager, Total Rewards supports the design, implementation, and administration of compensation, benefits, and rewards programs in Taiwan. This role partners closely with Cluster HR Head, HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Finance, and external vendors to ensure reward programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the organization's talent and business objectives. The incumbent will provide analytical support, market insights, and operational expertise in compensation and benefits management while driving continuous improvement in reward processes and governance.
What You’ll Do :
Compensation
- Manage the annual compensation review cycle, including salary increases, promotions, market adjustments, and incentive payouts.
- Conduct market benchmarking and analyze compensation trends to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
- Prepare compensation analyses, cost modelling, and recommendations for management review.
- Support job evaluation and job architecture processes.
- Ensure adherence to compensation policies, governance frameworks, and approval processes.
- Partner with HR stakeholders to provide compensation guidance and recommendations.
Benefits
- Support the administration and review of employee benefits programs, including medical, insurance, wellness, retirement, and leave programs.
- Coordinate with external benefit providers and brokers on program implementation and renewals.
- Analyze benefits utilization, costs, and employee feedback to identify enhancement opportunities.
- Support benefits harmonization and optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory and statutory requirements.
Total Rewards Strategy
- Support the development of reward policies, guidelines, and communication materials.
- Participate in global reward projects, including benefits redesign, pay transparency, and rewards transformation initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, economic indicators, inflation, and legislative developments affecting rewards programs.
Governance & Operations
- Support internal and external audits related to compensation and benefits.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reward processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of reward programs.

Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 4–7 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, HR Consulting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Experience with market surveys and compensation benchmarking tools.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, or equivalent platforms.
Advantage to Have:
- Experience supporting multiple countries or regional reward programs is preferred.
- Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies and reward frameworks is advantageous.
