Purpose of The Role: We are looking for a highly capable person to join our team in Hong Kong. This role places a strong emphasis on financial reporting, expense claim governance, and fixed asset management. You will play a key part in maintaining financial accuracy and compliance within a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Prepare balance sheet schedules and support month-end closing to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Verify employee expense claims against company policies, identify discrepancies, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, track depreciation, and lead regular physical asset counts.
  • Manage daily financial transactions, process vendor and intercompany invoices, reconcile intercompany balances, and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Review payment runs, follow up on outstanding payments, and process incoming receipts.
  • Prepare audit schedules, handle auditor inquiries, and support annual audit processes.
  • Assist the finance team with projects and other duties as assigned.

What Will Make You Successful:

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven accounting experience. Pharmaceutical or MNC background is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP is highly preferred.
  • Detail-minded, self-motivated, and enthusiastic
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills, capable of working independently under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Good command of spoken and written of English and Chinese (including Cantonese).
